Dr. Angel Tarrant
Dr. Angel Tarrant is the pediatrician at Lake Austin Pediatrics.
Dr. Tarrant has her B.S. degree in Bioengineering from Texas A&M University.
She worked as a software design engineer a few years before returning to medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
Following medical school, she was a pediatric resident at University of Texas program in Houston.
She worked at Hermann Memorial Children’s Hospital in the medical center and LBJ County Hospital.
Dr. Tarrant has worked in Austin since 2002 and opened Lake Austin Pediatrics in June 2004.
She is married with one child.
Norma Garcia
Norma Garcia is the receptionist for Lake Austin Pediatrics.
She will be assisting you when you call for an appointment, and she will be the one greeting you when you come into the office.
Tina Huerta
Tina Huerta is the medical assistant at Lake Austin Pediatrics.
She will be obtaining the vital signs, taking the patient history and performing some medical procedures including administration of vaccines.
Tina will be answering nurse calls for questions regarding your child’s health.
Trisha Smith
Dr. Tarrant is the only physician at Lake Austin Pediatrics.
She has scheduled time out of the office for continued medical education to provide better medical care for her patients.
In the event she is out of the office for any reason patients will be seen by Trisha Smith, CPNP.
Patients receive a reminder call the day prior.
At this time parents will be notified if Dr. Tarrant will be out of the office so they may reschedule if they would prefer to see Dr. Tarrant.
